PenMet Parks
Sign me up. An inspiring Parks and Recreation client who wants to promote the facilities, programs, and services to enhance the well-being of the entire community of the Peninsula Metropolitan Park District? The Executive team of PenMet Parks contracted Design Centric for just that—to sign others up. Through team collaboration, mission-driven messaging, and selective, original photography, we launched a marketing campaign of print and digital assets to spur involvement and contribution. The innovatively folded, full-color Sponsorship Guides, Annual Report, and Grand Opening Event Invitations and Programs for its brand-new Recreation Center boosted the Parks and Recreation brand, inspired District-wide engagement and sponsorship, and presented the accountability of the Board of Directors to constituents. Uninhibited by PenMet Parks' limited font and color guidelines, Design Centric added digital flip books, QR codes, sponsor and partner logo badges, and graphics and typographic elements within postal-approved, budgeted designs. The marketing aligned with the Directors' impetus for success. Sponsorship and partnerships increased by 169%. The new Recreation Center opened with financial backing of $3.6 million, half from private contributions and half from public funds over two years. 40,000 residents gained awareness and access to the multi-faceted PenMet Parks.
